Tomorrow is a holiday. We transitioned over to immigration to America. We read through the poem on the statue of liberty and how it symbolizes what makes America so unique. As millions flock to america at this point in history it opens up the doors for opportunity and the American Dream. Students finished class looking at the problems this immigration caused though. As people flocked to cities, urbanization caused major issues in large cities.
